CONTEST!!!!!

If you are of the same category of bibliophile as I am, you will be very excited about this new contest … How would you like to win the second book in a paranormal YA series??? Yep, awesome! I have three copies to give away and it’s very simple to enter. But before you do, let find out a bit more about this book… WHAT THE SOUL SCREAMERS SERIES IS ABOUT: Book 1 of The Soul Screamers series -- My Soul to Take -- was released this past summer, and readers found out why Kaylee Cavanaugh screams bloody murder when someone’s about to die. In Book 2 – My Soul to Save (what you could win!)– when teen pop star Eden croaks on stage and Kaylee doesn’t wail, she knows something is dead wrong. She can’t cry for someone who has no soul. The last thing Kaylee needs right now is to be skipping school, breaking her dad’s ironclad curfew and putting her too-hot-to-be-real boyfriend’s loyalty to the test. But starry-eyed teens are trading their souls for a flickering lifetime of fame and fortune in ...

Maximum Ride: The Final Warning

I spent most of my holiday rereading the first three Maximum Ride novels ( The Angel Experiment, School’s Out – Forever, and Saving the World and Other Sports ) because I finally had the 4th book in the series by James Patterson: The Final Warning . Now if you haven’t read the first three books in the series, this synopsis will give away a bunch of stuff so BEWARE ! ;) I won’t be having no book spoilin’ on my conscience, ya hear?! Anyway, - IF YOU HAVEN’T AVERTED YOUR EYES YET DO SO NOW – Max and the flock start off at the beginning of Final Warning quite cozy and all family-sitcom-ish with her newfound mom, half-sister, and still suspicious dad, Jeb. Jeb and Max’s mom want Max to speak to government folks and start “saving the world” as seems to be her continuing mission. Things don’t go too well, let’s leave it at that. ;) In other words, there always seems to be somebody anxious to hunt down Max and the rest of the flock and soon they are in hiding in a very white, very cold Anta...

First Step: Admit You Have a Problem

Hi fellow Bibliophiles! I have been rather neglectful to this blog... instead continuing to stay buried in a book as I have during the holidays. I'm hopeful that most of you have been doing this too and can easily accept my apology. Have I been reading? Um, yeah! (Translation: duh.) Just haven't been able to pull myself away long enough to actually WRITE about what I'm reading. Lol. But that's me, a bibliophile, an addict, an addict who's fallen off the wagon and fully embraced her love of reading - especially with all this free time to do so!!! I've also been watching awesome holiday movies, eating yummy, but bad-for-me, food and hanging out with the people I love best! You too? I hope! ;) Anyway, I will return with a new book review next week, most likely on Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for your patience and keep reading!!!
